A friend sent this to me today. The subject matter seemed
timely since it is connected to the Holidays.
I thought I'd post it and send her
any comments that may come to any of you.
"I have to share this interesting issue that came up this
morning. It was an inner child thing and it had to do with being told that
there isn't a Santa Claus. That he isn't real. This is told to you by
your parents (authority figures) who told you that there WAS a santa Claus.
These are the same people who tell you that God is real. My inner child
didn't believe in God. The old world Santas look like what my concept of
God is. I really had to look at what Annie believed about God and Santa
because they were intertwined because of lies. I will never tell a child
that there is a real Santa. I will tell them about the Santa energy of
giving and that we all have a Santa inside of us. That also make it easier
when money is lean and you can't afford a lot of stuff.. It has nothing to
dowith being bad or good (another God concept--you have to be good or God
doesn't love you or won't save you or answer prayers) Well this opens a
whole can of worms. Sooooo I am processing God, having what you ask for
given to you, being bad or good, letting go of what I thought God looked
like because we were taught he looks like us and he is a male of course
(and white)."
