There are email lists out there devoted to seduction using NLP
techniques. Look up Speed Seduction using google. (Guess what the sex
of most of those people on those lists are.)Sales people use NLP
techniques to make you buy things.
People go out of the way to help people all the time without their
consent. I call that "the helping hand strikes again." They help people
to make themselves feel good first.
As far as controlling and influence goes, you may not have effective
personal boundaries established. The energy behind your rant seemed to
feel full of pain rather than about NLP. Of course, I could just be
projecting. :) It didn't seem like your original post had anything to do
at all with NLP other than using the word programming.

The topic is neurologic programming and we got off of it a little.
Anyhow, I
was wondering if anyone had any negative experience with Neurologic
Programmers, or people going out of their way to try and help you
without
asking. That was the purpose of my original post.
On another note, I am more or less sure that people are aware of what
they
can do to people. Family members and friends have told me that I am
very
susceptible to the influence of others. I conjecture that they wouldn't
have
had this information unless they had experience with making attempts at
controlling me.
