Another way of concurring what Susan said about the tongue up to
recirculate excess energy, here is another marker or proof. In case you
practice tantra, specially if you are a men, you are confronted to
mastering volontary ejaculation which has of course strong links with K.

Well in tantra for a men (I do it many times), putting the tongue in the
palate really helps not ejaculate and pressing the red button so you
have cosmic orgasm, nice and helpful kriyas and less heat in the head.
