your head but I have a question. Do you hear it as if there's actually a radio
inside your head playing the sound track? It happened to me a couple times.
Not as distinct as all the time like you. I've had songs stuck in my head
before where they would just pop up out of nowhere and I would usually sing along
(if it was a song that I liked) but these couple times I heard the song
literally play itself as if the track was being read on a sophisticated system like
there was a cd player in my head. It would last about fifteen to twenty seconds
and I would ask someone near me if they heard the music and no one but me
did. I thought it was kind of cool when it happened. Music has power and each
time it happened I felt enlivened and energetic. I don't know if it was a
psychological connection or some ethereal connection but the weird thing was the
songs that I would hear would be songs I haven't heard in years and they would be
as clear as day. I could listen to all the intricacies and nuances of the
melody and since i'm a drummer I would study the beat and rhythm. Who knows, maybe
being a musician better connects us to the music of the universe? Especially
the music here on earth.
