Dieing Moment
She walked ahead close to the gateway. A little slow and lost in height from
her agedness and slightly crooked back. She was recognizably old.
A man gave a glance to me that he wasn't feeling well. I didn't realize till
after it was the expression of this old lady reflected through him and back
out to me.
It was the emergency call out. The signal that goes round from person to
person. Where there is a stillness. A sense of duty. Calm. Like waking from
our dream to salute the transition of another.
I thought she wanted to hold on to something. She looked like she needed to
get some full breaths. Perhaps a little tired. I held her from behind. Not
sure of what to do other than to allow her to choose her own destination and
reach where she wanted to be.
Did she trip and just loose her footing. Did she need to hold on to a close
column to rest her sense of uneasiness.
As I held her I noticed something. Something slowly moving away. The
strength of her energy became less. It was beautiful to hold. Supporting her
passage.
Next, slowly my awareness of the surrounding regained. I put the body
carefully on the ground and could here the voices of children around.
A precious moment. May she live in comfort and peace within her self.
