As I awoke I "heard" the message 'Lose all desire'. My experience with
addiction and letting go thereof is extensive. I used substances, food,
sex and work as avenues for suppressing feelings. Once I trusted that my
feelings were to be embraced rather than suppressed, I found myself able
to let go. Uncomfortable feelings when realized in concious awareness,
now, will allow the inner physiological expressions of them (DNA) to
become transformed to a healed (whole) state, but ONLY if the feelings
are completely brought to conciousness and relived. Ego has constructed
itself around these areas of emotional pain/trauma. If you realize them
in real time now and allow them full expression, then the defense
mechanism (the DNA component) you/ego had constructed to suppress that
feeling is transformed into Light, the DNA is revised, the
body/mind/soul is healed. Ego experiences that process as death...that
is until ego gets to the other side of it and realizes it is okay
without what was released. Everytime you responded to experience from a
place of fear you created a piece of ego and each time you reexperience
that feeling in concious awareness you release that trauma, heal, and
consequently a piece of ego experiences death, and then resurrection.
This is the process so totally symbolized in the crucifixion
resurrection of the CHRIST.
Embrace your feelings, feel whatever comes up in concious awareness, and
be healed. This is your path to complete ralization of Self. Remaining
addicted halts the process.
When the CHRIST said "Pick up your cross and follow me" this is what he
meant.
