i guess one can (in some sense) compare the
computers operating-system (Windows, UNIX whatever)
to the human belief-systems :>
Many belief-systems, like operating-systems,
contains tons of "holes" and "errors", which
may cause the "host" to crash, appear bizarre
etc.
The brain recieves millions of signals all
the time, but "we" tend to ignore the ones
that doesn't fit into our established belief-
system.
Of course, these things can be worked on,
(which I guess most people here do)
and remember that computers doesnt have
consciousness, they are just as dumb as your
car or food-processsor..
