I see it...not as a gap...but impossible, (although it appears to be the opposite) as past, present, future, all happening...right now. To take it even further, maybe to say, there is really nothing happening, only the illusion of it happening in a sequence.
 
However...to exist in the physical...there must be a sense of linear time, useful for the purposes of being here. So it appears to me to be located within the body complex (mind/ego? senses?) useful for navigating the physical world of illusion.

and the program you were accessing can then be accessed again...or comes
back on by itself.

perhaps we are not that different from our home computers and for a
second we crash or freeze and then when everything returns we
think...hmmm this looks all very familiar..?

and because we froze or re started we never realized the break..we didnt
see the crack in the physical world.

its something to think about.
