When a horse is hard to break to the saddle, we say it is "spirited"
and cherish it, because it will be a stronger and more loyal servant when
the process is done. The strong ones fight the hardest.
There has been some debate on the list, in years past about different
leaders and the cause of the varying strength of the Shakti field, or
charismatic energy they possess. Some say that the potential volume or
amount of power a person has, is inborn, just as a savant talent is from
birth and cannot be duplicated by training.
Leaders are born, not made... I observe that the three things go
together... personal power, strength of will (stubbornness) and the
resulting gifts when the stubborn one finally surrenders. The strong ones
fight the hardest, surrender the deepest, and come out the most gifted and
powerful.
