I've often wondered about magic.
Is magic simply development of the 26 minor and 8 major siddhis or is there
actually more to it ? Sri Swami Sivananda lists the Siddhis, however I
wonder if there are many more than he lists.
Take the Kabbalah for example, my understanding is that you can do things
with the Kundalini, but i've never seen anyone mention this.
How would you list the differences between the path of the mystic and the
magician ? Part of the question is for self validation of my path, i'd like
to know the differences and make some conscious choices.
There are magicians who are not power seekers but this is where I get *very*
confused. Perhaps explorers is a better term, if so then what is a mystic.
To me a mystic chooses the most direct path to enlightenment possible.
Some magicians are enlightened, so what then are they doing, what is their
motivation.
Is a magician more advanced than a mystic, does the terminology really
matter, I just want to understand...
Many questions here that I would like answers to that i've had for many
years, but I don't know where to look for them.
