Subject: [K-list] FW: vision of the 3rd Eye - a different slant

Namaste,

I believe several folks on this list have been discussing their 3rd eye
phenomena... I thought I'd write about a strange occurrence I had this
morning, actually it was my boyfriend more so -- we were in the midst of a
somewhat "heated" discussion (yeah, we were arguing!), when suddenly he
gasped, and said for a second he saw an eye in the middle of my forehead!
...that looked more or less like my other eyes, but was straight up and down
(vertical). He couldn't get over it for quite awhile, saying he very truly
saw it. Has anyone ever had such an experience? I wasn't aware of anything
going on in my third eye at that moment. Its particularly of note in that
its not a usual sort of thing for him to report -- he doesn't typically have
conscious physic experiences.

I don't think I ever made a formal introduction to this list, but I've
enjoyed many of the threads I've been reading since I joined a couple of
weeks ago. In reference to the 3rd eye in my case, I feel I've just started
the process of opening this chakra more completely (and the 5th chakra as
well). Although I have a pretty strong intuitive sense, I don't have visual
physic experiences particularly nor do I experience direct communication
with discarnate entities.

About a month ago, I started having the variety of Kundalini experiences
where the energy spontaneously jumps up my spine, -- it jumps to most any
chakra, depending on my current state of being (openness, and relaxation
particularly), or where I'm focusing my awareness. Its the 5th and 6th
chakras that I have the least energetic perception of, however. I've
started doing some work with this but not a lot to this point.
