All religious and spiritual traditions speak to the transcendent. ALL.
All use metaphor and symbol to attempt to capture that which cannot be
named. Human beings have generaly fallen victim to embracing the
metaphor, rather than the transcendent truth behind it. Do not fault or
judge anyone for this; ALL people are doing their best to fulfill their
lives and accomplish their soul development. Each and all are of the
transendent, and each and all will be fulfilled. It is the way of things
that people confuse symbol with truth, but when it happens ineach case
the confusion becomes manifest in the experience of pain and limitation.
These things will eventually turn one away from confusion and toward
truth.

God is a convenient name for the transcendent of which we are all part
and with which we are all One. One may call it Spirit, and one most
certainly deem oneself atheist, if that is the way to best express one's
truth. Each of us must express our truth as fully as we can, and be as
completely genuine to who we are. There is plenty of room in infinity.
There is plenty of time in eternity.
