Going cold turkey is a really bad idea. I suggest you absolutely do NOT do
it. Alcohol changes your mood, and may not help. It may make things
significantly worse because it loosens inhibitions and promotes agitation.
While I applaud your discovery and the enthusiasm with which you want to
tackle this next obstacle, please take the time to come off the stuff
gradually over at least a week. Depending on the amount of time you spent
on temazepam, you could have symptoms for quite a while afterwards.
It is wise to stay with someone for a while as you are coming off the
stuff. The K will help flush it from your body.
As someome who also deals with K-related insomnia, I can fully sympathize
with your situation. Good luck!
