Speaking from my personal experience which may...or
may not be relative to your problem....
I was meditating daily for a couple of years before my
K awakened and experienced many times that I couldn't
meditate because of uncomfortable feelings in the
body, headaches, restless legs etc...also emotional
feelings that stopped me from reaching the quiet mind
that I needed.
I eventually came to the conclusion that this can
happen when the Ego mind starts to resist what we're
doing because it means it will loose control...or we
are reaching inner depths to bring up issues for
clearing that the ego (our inner defence
mechanics)would prefer stay buried.
The ego will resort to many tricks and games to stop
what is happening and you'll be surprised at how
tricky it can be :)
Meditation and finding inner silence etc is good for
us mentally and physically so your pressure could be
an indicator that you're on the right track...this is
why there's resistance from the ego.
As always though, its best to seek medical advice if
it persists...best to be safe than sorry, especially
with physical symptoms.
