Subject: [K-list] Surrendering

Hi everyone,

The advice most often given when people are having a
difficult time with K is to surrender and let go of
control...see what K shows you for your path etc...

I've had a problem with this advice for my own path
and will sometimes resist surrendering after inner
contemplation and asking others for advice on the
particular situation at the time.

I prefer to use 'discernment' because sometimes K is
bringing something to the surface for clearing that I
don't want to repeat in my life again.

An example of not offering advice to surrender - (not
sure if it was on this K list) A woman had K started
from shaktipat from her priest and the priest had told
her she was to have his baby and pass it off as her
husbands. This woman had also heard voices in her
head telling her to go ahead, even gave her the babies
name etc.

Obviously most people on the list responded with the
advice of not to do this....I think one person
suggested the usual advice of surrendering to the
process etc.

This appears as a contradiction to me, always advising
to surrender....then changing when the situation is a
bit tricky or when certain morals are possibly being
challenged.

Am I misunderstanding the process of surrendering to
K? To me it means let it go and let it happen....what
will be will be. Is this correct?

I really would appreciate some clarity...your
opinions...
