Since I have taken Reiki attunement fairly recently, like earlier in the
summer, but have noticed no problems with it (barely much difference in my
life at all), would you recommend that I have the symbols cleared, is it
something that will always cause problems?

It is simple, I'll try it in point form:
1) the ability to channel energy is natural in humans, we do it
unconsciously all the time. Hardware built into the design, by Goddess.
No
reiki required. Just love and imagination.
2) What reiki is: ki means chi or prana. Sky energy. Abundant, but
stupid... needs to be directed. The intention behind implanting the
reiki
symbols is to direct your chi energy to flow in a certain way, which is
coded into the symbols themselves. Like traffic signs, or a computer
program.
3) Human energy, is not static, it evolves. Walling it in by symbols
is
like what happens when a river is constrained to it's banks by cement
dikes. The nature of a river is to wander, and the result is imbalance,
flooding.
4) Reiki is a duality based system, in that it makes distinctions
between "good" and "bad" energy. Kundalites are on a road to nonduality
so
at a certain point in the individuals spiritual evolution, the symbols
become limiting. You are seeing that Love is All that Is, and the
symbols
are still trying to filter and control. You outgrow them, but it is
coded
into them that they are permanent and not to be messed with.
5) Kundalini is not chi based, it is Shakti energy, consciousness.
Kundalini uses chi as She sees fit, and does not take direction. Most of
the sensations of K are feeling the movement of chi in the body, under
the
direction of Shakti as She cleans the temple. So the symbols become a
place
of resistance. Kundalites energy needs to flow as Goddess Wills, not as
Mr.
Usui or John Doh! wanna be Master thought was a good idea.
6) Coding intention into symbols or objects and passing them on is
actually quite simple, basic magic. We do it naturally, all the time.
The
vibrations of who we are rub off on the things around us, and can be
"read"
by a psychometrist. Doing it consciously is not much different. Having
the
discernment to know the ripples and possible outcome of messing with it,
is
not.
In 1980 there was one kind of reiki, Usui... which, being duality
based, had some limiting beliefs hardwired into it, but mostly
harmless... Now there are thousands of kinds of reiki, and how many of
the
inventors decided to "improve" it with the addition of their own
limiting
beliefs? People who would never sign a contract without reading the fine
print, go get a reiki initiation and have a contract drawn on their
chakras
without ever really understanding what it says...

Well, I don't want to completely diss reiki, there are many folks
who
enjoy it, and have no problems... especially if they are not awakened!
