oh it's nice to hear other people complaining of sleeplessness! i seem to be
the only one i know who lives on 5hrs or less a night of this stuff.
i will recommend a few simple things that have helped me somewhat,
especially just to relax, as any bodily tension as you're all prob'ly well
aware, can make K a very uncomfortable experience.
first and foremost:
5-HTP (hydroxytryptophan): an intermediary between tryptophan and serotonin.
perfectly safe. 25-100mg daily between meals seems to do the trick. does not
typically cause drowsiness, only a mild relaxing effect, easier sleep and
more vivid dreaming (ime). this may be purchased over the counter in any
whole foods store, and taken daily. 5-HTP can help reduce anxiety, increase
serotonin levels, as well as assist in several other related problems.
(often people with k happen to also be hypoglycemic i've noticed. there's a
theory these folks (suffering from blood sugar issues and/or eating
disorders) may be low in serotonin for biological reasons...lack of
appropriate receptors, hormonal something i forget :)
also there is an amino acid called GABA, which seems to work for alot of
people.
also, kava helps, valerian...and Passion Flower tea...mmm...
don't let the bed bugs bite ; )
