I've never had any snake dreams, but I have had a couple of experiences with
snakes, they all happened in India, the first two was when I was about 8
years old, I'd just been involved in a car crash and couldn't walk properly
so my parents had sent me to live in India with my grandparents and aunt and
uncle, it was the monsoon season and we did not have any coverings on the
house and when it rained insects and all kinds of animals would try and get
into the house. I was asleep in my bed when I felt something warm in my lap,
I woke up to find a cobra sleeping on my lap it was very big and heavy and I
remember being very scared, in fact so scared I could not move only breath,
I cant remember how long it stayed like that but must have been about half
hour, when the snake woke up and slithered away, I did not dare get out of
bed for ages afterwards, and was then constantly looking under beds before I
went to sleep. The second experience happened about a year later at about
the same time again in monsoon, I was sitting outside watching the rain
falling, when another snake came out of the grate on the wall opposite,
again I just sat there but this time there was no fear, it was doing a dance
of in front of me, then my grandfather saw what was happening and called a
farmhand who got a long pole and picked up the snake and threw it over the
wall in one sweep. The last was about three years ago, I'd just met my wife
for the first time and we had taken a bus journey to get from Uttar Pradesh
to go to the Punjab, we was resting at a nearby temple the drivers seemed to
know and everyone was stretching their legs, I was looking up and drinking
form a bottle of water when I heard a gasp from my mum, looking down I saw a
very long and thin jet black snake slither between my legs and head off
towards a nearby field, again I just watched in detachment, there were
people further down and it almost bit one of them then the rest ran aside
and it slithered into the field.
I have no idea whether these were k related or not, and I've really not
given them much though since, although they used to make good party pieces.
