I saw fairies when I was a small kid, but as an adult, only once, so far...
It was a sunny morning and I sat in my nightie reading and eating cereal
from a bowl balanced on my lap when out of the corner of my eye I saw what
looked like a huge insect flapping its wings , about two and a half inches
across and the same height off the floor, on my right by the kitchen door.
My first thought was a moment's fear wondering what scary great insect had
got into the room! As I turned to face it I saw it was a butterfly shaped
being with a real tiny human like body with a human type face and with wings
shaped like a butterfly's but transparent and veined like a dragonfly,
wonderful shimmering translucent blues and violets...
But once I was looking straight at it, all I could see was a golden ball
like a very intense sparkler type firework. It moved towards my legs and I
moved them out of the way and the golden ball briefly disappeared hidden by
my book and knees and then it reappeared, turned and went to the centre of
the room and just slowly dissolved away.
What a magic moment!
There is an energy line running through the house that comes through the
wall just where the fairy being appeared, maybe it rode in on the energy?
