Transformation of the ego and de-tachment to the false Self.
The ego/identity is required to live in the world, our skills, our mind make
up the ego, this is our toolset for life.
The spiritual path is all about acceptance through giving up, not acquiring.
Consciousness is left, pure, clean, unmirrored, crystal.
Think of consciousness as the light in the light bulb, and the ego as the
bulb. We're not the bulb, but the light yet the bulb is required for us to
survive. You have to learn not to identify with the shell, although it's
visible to the mind, that's the catch, idenitifcation with form and
mirroring with others to create our own form is also the catch. The mind is
an endless labyrinth.
The transformation is about not wasting our energy which distorts the
consciousness by feeding our ego, but by letting go.
