This question can only really be answered once we have stepped past the
veil, if we have the ability to return by choice, why in material form?
And more importantly why leave in the first place, to me I see a need to
come back. Its not about beliefs but just the concept sounds strange to me.

You've structured that as a flat statement. I assume you find the
proposition inconceivable? But then you've probably got another belief about
why your soul is here . . .

I personally go back and forth on the reincarnation of an individual soul -
but on the days when it resonates, I would probably answer because my soul
is either / and / or:

1) in love with creation and wants to be part of the dance
2) desiring it's own evolution and this is how it happens
