Three of my grandchildren came for a visit today.
Their mother and I were talking on the porch talking
about how things will change if I sell my cabin while
the kids played in the field just past the trees.
We could see them most of the time but we could hear
them better. We heard the smallest let go with a laugh
that was obviously contagious. The other two also
started laughing, the kind of laughs that could not be
stopped. That only gets hardier. We went down to see
what was so funny. The kids were still rolling on the
ground holding themselves from laughing so hard when
we got to them. They settled down when they saw us
and then they showed us what was so funny.
On the ground at the foot of the tree was what looked
like compost stuff. My 4 year old grandson picked up
a small handful and held it up to me and very seriously
told me "it fell from the sky!"
His sister started laughing all over again, only this
time her brother started to cry at her teasing.

There is a raccoon family that lives in that tree and
they were cleaning house, it would seem.
The kids did not know this but stuff falling from the
sky tickled their funny bones. And the more the stuff
fell, the funnier it got.

I guess that raccoon wasn't bothered at all by the
commotion it caused at the foot of its tree, there
was nothing that was going to deter it from its task
because while my daughter in law comforted the
crying child that raccoon dropped tree rubbish smack
on her head.
That stopped the crying, and the laughing started
up all over again. We laughed till I cried. And that
made everyone laugh even more. : ))

Then I come in at the end of an absolutely grand
day to find synchronicity waiting for me right here
on my computer.
And I laugh all over again.
