Well, you will probably get a number of points of view on this subject! :))

My own opinion is that it's best, if things are going smoothly (as they seem
to be for you) not to try to force the energy through any "outside" source.
When I first awoke I purposely kept away from any information or advice
(including books) because I didn't want to interfere with the natural process. It
was the right choice for me. My experience has been virtually trouble free.
But It really depends on the person, I think.

But a cautionary note. There have been cases of gurus causing problems for
those already awake and in the midst of their individual process: See:

I suspect on occasion the wrong guru can cause a disruption in the energy.

Most of the people responding seemed to have had mostly good experiences, but
