Subject: [K-list] origins of I
From: Ranbir Singh
On 2004/05/15 09:51, Ranbir Singh posted thus to the K-list:
When did we stop using the word one for I?
Do all languages have words like these?
In ye olde English does one mean individual/me or part of a collective?
And what does I really mean?
Can any(one) answer these questions?
