  Aaah thank you Lori-ann, I thought I was gonna have to go back to sleep again *sigh* (waking
up)..

  Well, to make a long story short, knowledge is a belief that you consider reflecting the truth;
whereas belief as such is considering something is true without knowing if it's true or not;

    Belief is the subjective pole of knowledge, which is essentially objective;

   Pure, unwavering certainty, is possible, therefore objectivity is founded, because it can be
experinced; only those who have experienced it know what I'm talking about: it is when that
which is represented in one's mind correponds with reality;

   Subjectivity refers to that which is represented in the mind, with no reference
to the objective reality;

  So, dear Lori-ann, it is the other way around: knowledge contains belief, but belief
doesn't necessarily contain knowledge. When you say: "what good is knowledge if you don't
believe it?", it just shows you don't know what knowledge is; knowledge, in its purest form, is
absolute certainty; so what you're really saying is: what good is being certain, if you don't believe
in what you know for sure ? Sounds pretty absurd to me no? Think about it: wouldn't you rather
believe in something true than in something false? Believing in something that you know is true
is called: "knowledge".
  But maybe.. you were thinking of _faith_ vs. knowledge; and I do agree that at some point in our
lives, we might have more faith than actual knowledge, and that this faith would then have
much more value than our present knowledge, to such an extent that we'd need to discard the
little knowledge we possess in order to grow past our limitations... but that's a whole different
issue..

 regards,

  Djamel
