What you're saying here, dear Ranbir, is that belief is inferior to knowledge, everybody will
agree to that; then, that knowledge, or wisdom, lies exclusively in the heart: here we have a
problem. You're omitting a
small detail: to
love something in the first place, you have to have some _knowledge_ of it, and have _seen_ it,
with physical eyes, or spiritual eyes, which lie not in the heart particularly..
> Why does everyone seem to forget that and distract themselves,
Well, "everyone", except you, since you wrote this, here can be divided into two categories: those
who accumulate knowledge for their own sake, to look wise for example, to write a book and
become famous; the others, which I think are the majority, study scriptures, analyse intellectually
their situation and that of others in order to be useful not just to themselves, but to the world also;
many excellent traditions have thus been created and enriched, as they were handed down from
generation to generation, by men whom we should be immensely grateful to; for the heart-based
knowledge alone, as good and wholesome as it is, in the complicated and chaotic world we live
in, the real world, is exposed to
so many pitfalls, it wouldn't stand a snowball's chance in hell, as experience confirms more than
enough.
> There is a saying,
> The devil is in the detail,
I know what you mean, but still I find it a bit distasteful, if I may be so bold.. A panoramic view
without the details is just blurry vision; details are so beautiful.. Why not have both God and the
Devil? He doth shine on the good _and_ the wicked right? Proverbs and such are often
contradictory b.........t, as in "the exception confirms the rule"; you should turn to the holy
scriptures instead; always make sense..
> If I feel in my heart I am happy,
> I will be happy forever,
> If I believe in my head I am happy,
> How long will that last.
What if you _know_ in your head, that you're not only happy, but in such a powerful,
indestrucible, and blissful state that "happy" or "unhappy" have no relevance whatsoever?
Wouldn't that be something? Think about it..
> And soz for the preaching.
> Its not my thang.
I'm not sure about that Ranbir: I think you're a very good preacher, but I prefer, if you don't
mind, this other preacher here:

Now IMO, _that_ is beautifully said, Kimberly
