Not sure about the clean thing,

It all seems to have a holier then though feeling, religious doctrine about
it (though shalt not), that creates more problems then it solves.

I wonder if you really meant this?

The difference between one person and the other would be based on how
'ego less' is each person before K awakens.

    And usually men would have it worse because of the ideals associated
with
man - things like being tough, self-discipline, effort etc.. that creates a
lot of inner conflicts.

    But I guess that as woman/man education gets more and more equal the
difference will get lower.
