I watch Death tear the eyes out from stars
leaving blackened sky
where only Love devours what's left
The moon bleeds
like a woman giving birth
her still-born child
transformed into virgin energy
to begin the cycle again...
This poem is like a crystal.
You can turn it about
and watch it through
positioned angles
that prism meaning
over and over
and see something new
each and every time.
Such is the world
such is my life,
on this cold and heavy evening
I go to sleep
and dream of morning
before tomorrow
I awaken to die
again
