Hearing about the common occurrence of snakes and its underlying
significance, I remembered something... Last Sunday I was at my parents house visiting
with my nephew when I asked him to help me look for something in the basement.
As I was amidst all the cobwebs, boxes, and who knows what else, my nephew
repeatedly kept saying that there were snakes down there, or he would point and
yell "there's a snake". Of course, he was just being silly and trying to
frighten me. He found it amusing that I would jump everytime he yelled snake.
Usually, I would have been terrified if someone had told me there was a snake
near me, but I noticed that the only reason I was jumping was because his yells
startled me, not the thought of a snake. This all happened the day before my
meditation experience, in which I saw the vivid purple and yellow/gold ball. I
have also noticed that when I meditate now, strange words pop into my head
out of nowhere...for instance, last night while I was in a trance-like state
before falling asleep, I heard in my head people chanting "forever 38". Still
haven't figured out what it means, but I have a feeling the answer will find me
soon enough. Sorry to ramble, this is all so overwhelming, but wonderful.
