Hi,
Hi Deepak,
I don't want to say that I've felt you exactly in your email but I've felt myself years ago when I was in a similar space. It seems that a lot of seekers pass by those questions and it is a part of their journey to be aware of the bigger mystery of our life. If I would take that opportunity to go back and talk to myself, it wouldn't be very wise to give my self the answers to those questions because my answer probably wouldn't matter as much as it matters to myself here and now.
Here is what I'd do:
1- First congratulate my past self for coming to that unique place of asking very important questions.
2- Tell my past self if I really want answers to those questions I have to go to the pure desire of wanting to know. It is not hard just what do you want know about? and why you want it? make sure the wanting is coming from the pure desire not the lack; for example, not " I want to know what is the HELL is going on, instead "I want to know because it will give me a sense of trust and peace about where I am, the goodness of our Universe, etc. ."
3- I will tell my past self to believe that there is an answer. If there is truth out there it will come to me simply because I am sincerely asking.
Desire something + believing it will happen = It is.
Deepak,
What I heard from you is disbelief in the justice of our Universe. You are saying "I want to know but I know there is no answer." and so is your reality will speak that back to you.
If you give doubt you will receive more of it. If you give trust you will get what you want very very soon and you will be amazed how powerful you can be. Most of the times trust comes through a process, collect all your signs of trust and believes in goodness (or whatever.)
I don't believe this movie is helping "passion of the Christ" for it will offer disconnection. I would get more confused if I saw a movie with Jesus in it being beat up for 17 minutes strait. What is the gain from seeing torture except it will enhance my belief of suffering and limitations? However if it feels good I will give myself that experience but it doesn't. We are unlimited beings and we don't have to pay a karmic lesson. I don't believe we can be ever in a place of distant fate. We are the creators of our life experiences. I believe we are coming more to understand that we are Gods just like Jesus is.
I am just saying my opinions. I would like to hear yours. All respect to other beliefs.
Mohamed
