  This remindes me of an experience that I've had towards the end of December. I was lying in bed, halfway asleep, when a green, checkerboard grid with thin lines appeared before me. I was aproaching it in without fear with the intent of passing through it. As I was doing so, my cell phone started ringing and woke me back up. I was really angry, because I wanted to go through this. It was my dad calling me, he sounded really worried asking me if everything was alright and everything. I guess it wasn't the right time to go through this. I do remember asking/telling my guides for a smooth transition from an ego state to becoming fully awakened.
