MAS doesn't need defending and I certainly don't need to fight any battles
for her but I felt like speaking up. I have been a lurker on this list for
a couple of years and participate from time to time.

I think, Morgan, that MAS never comes off as "better" than anyone. When
someone reacts that way to her (and you are not the first) they are usually
projecting their own feelings of not being good enough. It could be said
she is mirroring your own anger and defensiveness.

Better to take a step back, take a deep breath, and really look at her
words. Think about them. Take away the emotions and try to look at them
from another point of view.

If "enlightenment" breeds anything, it breeds honesty, and honesty is not
always kind. "Hurtful words" are sometimes just that. At other times, they
represent a truth of some sort. To be brutally honest with oneself is to be
able to discriminate between the two.

Don't fret about Mystress. Know thyself.
