this is a very good question, one that I have not resolved either. Related
is "Is what I am concluding (from sensory input etc) valid or is it arising
from ego desires / issues?"
One way of deciding would be to "know thyself" and thus one can figure out
(with some certainty,
but not 100%) the source of feelings or thoughts and thus if you are
"jumping to conclusions"
Being able to step outside of oneself and invoke "the watcher" should help
as well - but that switch
to being totally objective is hard
