Jeff,

Yes, I also build up a lot of energy in my hands during Pranayama,
Mantra, and Meditation. The energy feels like a magnetic force field -
light, soft, bouncy, and warm.

The major Chakras are the ones along the spinal chord. However, there
are medium and minor Chakras throughout the body. In particular, there
is an energy centre (ie Chakra) in the centre of the palm of each hand.
