Hi, Rick,
If you're interested in the yogic tradition, I can vouch for Yogiraj Gurunath. He visits the US every summer, mainly California. He's very humorous and refreshing, doesn't have a huge production around him and you can actually talk to him. I have just "discovered" that he is my guru. I still don't know how to put that. More on that later - the whole guru-disciple thing is new to my world view and I'm still adjusting. I never thought I needed, or wanted one, but life has a way of showing you your path only when you're already on it! www.hamsa-yoga.org
 
Also Gurumayi from the siddha yoga path visits the US every year. She's Muktananda's successor. This group is BIG and you probably would not be able to get close or have a discussion. www.siddhayoga.org
