I just recently found my way back to the gateway list It's been quite a year. Now I have to try to catch up on some postings. (Hello, Hillary!)
I wanted to comment on Juliette's energy issue. I've got a couple suggestions. One thing I've heard and seems to work if you can stay open (not close down your chakras as you would instinctively do), is to continually pull universal energy from both ground and crown when around these people and pour it out at them. That way it doesn't drain your personal energy and the "vampire" people will either get full or get bored because they're not affecting you. Either way they'll probably go away because it throws a change in their pattern! They're used to sucking energy away and when you change the dynamic, they get bewildered and wander off. I have had that happen once or twice. Good for "crazed" peeps on the bus even, who want to engage with you.
Re: the spinning. I learned that the spinning sensation is sometimes experienced when you "sit still in space." You are actually feeling the motion your body is going through as part of this earth, this solar system, galaxy, or even the electrons in your body, spinning like crazy. Like you're in free fall but still feel gravity pulling you. You could try grounding for that as well, or just relax into it and see where you float to! It could be fun. Like a carnival ride.
Above all, don't fear. No one has any power over you or your energy. Play with it and see what works. Don't be afraid of flowing universal energy through your system along with personal energy. It won't overwhelm you (at least not permanently!) Allow yourself to be creative and experiment.
