Subject: [K-list] a k-list suggestion

Something I would enjoy more was if the k-list was something more like
k-bbs.
Online forums are my favorite form of online community. For example, I
sometimes hang out at trekbbs.com- a place for trekkies. What I like
about such forums (which are quite different from yahoogroups) is the way
messages are organized, you can just log in and peak to see if there are
new replies, etc.
I can only offer this as "something I would enjoy" as opposed to
"something I could help create" since my web programming is way basic.
Forums can be set up so as to be as private as our list here... and I do
know there are lots of free forum softwares out there.
The other thing I like about forums is... well... forums. You can have
off topic forums, technical quesrtions about the list/site, etc.
Just an idear- I would enjoy hearing anyone else's feedback.
xo,
Seth
