Thank you for your comments, Jeff. A year or so ago, about 8 years into a
k-awakening, I found myself in an utterly matter of fact non-dual view with no
ecstasy, no feelings of divinity, but all the usual k-symptoms of vibrations,
harmonic sounds, etc. ongoing. I read a lot of dzogchen and thought, well this
is it, the realization of non-dualism, but how disappointing, if liberating.
Not that I desired ecstasy, but that there was no mystery. Surely if I got
"it," the "it" couldn't be the ultimate truth! Well, after about 6 months of
this, things moved along again, as they always do, and the sense of
unfathomable enormity and joy came back like a torrent. I'd love to hear more about the
8 levels of absorption. Thanks again, Holly
