In my limited understanding, there is no dark and <everything> is light. On one of Wayne Dyer's tape series he illustrates this with the following:
A man was questioning a young avatar about God. He said, "I'll give you an orange if you tell me where God is." The young avatar answered, "I'll give you two if you tell me where He's not."
BTW, Marianne Williamson has written books and speaks about The Course in Miracles. The poem actually comes directly from The Course. The Course says:
"Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.
Herein lies the peace of God."
What this means, Juliette, IMO, is that everything God/dess created is real, which is love. Everything of the ego -- darkness, fear, hatred -- is unreal. Believe this and you are free.
Also, IMO, The Course provides a unique pathway to awakening. As someone who feels she is awakened (!), it's still tough to tune into the real message/s. If your dark feelings persist, you may want to explore The Course. You can read about it at www.acim.org.

thank you for that quote by Marianne Williamson, it does truely hit the spot.
although i think alot of us feel that the light with in us is darkness. it's
the fear of the unknown and the feeling of strength can feel dark (
especiallyfor a scorpio) this i know is a misconception as there is no light or
dark..... although i must admit i still have trouble fully understanding.
it'sd strange that you sent the quote that you did as i bought that book 2
days ago.... and have just started it....
