Okay, I'm not too convinced that entities and person-to-person interchanges
are quite the same. Entities in my experience are easier to zap off, where
the person-to-person can tend to persist.

Here I see the similarity. In that in letting down the resistance in either
case, there is bliss of being a naked vessel to be felt.

I agree. Sometimes forgiving one self superficially is not enough to release
guilt. I've found asking my heart on how to let go is a way through some of
the sticky bits.
Sometimes saying 'I let go of this' or 'I surrender this' just brings up
ideas like 'I can't let it go'. I try to reverse it and say 'I can let it
go' and then some other idea may come up 'I need this' and then I say 'I
don't need this' etc... Eventually with a little work it goes.

In observation, by being absent, it is easy for shakti to be substituted so
the bodies energies are not being drawn. Shakti appears limitless but only
seems to arise when we give up control. I think there is times to push
vampires away when feeling weak, worn or used that there is not enough
opportunity to surrender. Otherwise let them suck and enjoy being a conduit.
They get what they need and I'm convinced eventually they will heal by their
own magic.
