 Hello,

  I was thinking about meditation and just different states of consciousness and a sort of... question came up. I'm a bit curious as to what some of your ideas on the subject might be.

  I don't meditate very often or have a lot of experience with it, but have read/tried basic ideas of simply "being" and "observing". Just simply to throw thoughts about on the subject, what would be differences between the two? I feel as if being and observing have their different qualities.

This isn't an attempt to force labels upon the states, but just simply something fun to hopefully get some of us thinking, discussing, and sharing experiences (although words may be limiting sometimes).
