Dear Waffle fans,
Hope it's okay to return to this e-mail. I wrote a reply some time ago, but
it never quite got finished.

Yes, I believe so :)
When I read some of the posts from the archives, it felt as if it was more
intimate in that time.

I think your writings on the Heart and Power chakras are very clear and
beneficial. It occurred to me that I had read so much about the throat
chakra other than it having it cleared allowed clear expression and freedom
of speech. Confidence.
I came across a web site that said how the throat chakra can discriminate
the source of communications. Inner and outer. In my own interpretation,
what is in truth in the now and what isn't. I guess the questions maybe
asked to the heart through the throat chakra.
It went on to say...
"Vishuddhi is also known as the 'nectar and poison centre'. This would mean
'death and transformation' in more familiar terms. The nectar is
transcendental fluid, 'the Dew of Heaven'. "As long as Vishuddhi chakra
remains inactive, this fluid runs downward unimpeded, to be consumed in the
fire of Manipura, resulting in the processes of decay, degeneration and
finally death in the body's tissues. When Vishuddhi is awakened the divine
fluid is retained and utilized, becoming the nectar of immortality. The
secret of youth and regeneration of the body lies in the awakening of
Vishuddhi chakra."

Surprise is a funny thing. I can't overstate how much surrendering desires
to goddess can bring amazing gifts.
More waffle follows....
Curiously I looked up fate and one of the meanings refers to three goddesses
who determine the course of human life (classical mythology)? If my brief
sweep of Hindu goddesses has any plausibility then it would seem many
goddesses stem from the infinite singularity. Through interpretations things
perhaps become divided.
And so it is how things are interpreted and translated. Even it seems Buddha
(Bodhisattva) has changed sex for the Chinese fellowship. I find the Guan
(Kuan) Yin (Goddess of Mercy) in a temple, learning later that this is the
popular Chinese figure of Buddhism.
"Probably because of Kuan Yin's great compassion, a quality which is
traditionally considered feminine, most of the bodhisattva's statues in
China since the Tang dynasty (A.D. 618?07) have appeared as female figures.
In India, however, the bodhisattva is generally represented as a male
figure." - Lin Sen-shou
"Any living being who calls my name or sees me will be free from all fear
and danger. I will activate that being's spiritual awareness and maintain it
forever." - Kuan Yin.
It was a friend that suggested we should go to the temple. Traditionally
people seek blessings and make wishes on their birthday whilst making an
offering to the temple or monk. It was quite fun.
The made Chedi is like a pagoda having many levels. Two elevators running up
in the middle to the 10 floors and a further two floors that can be climbed
on foot. Each floor has artefacts, Buddha images and teachings placed
within. We only had time to explore the upper three and some of the original
Buddha's artefacts were held at the highest one.

LOL. Makes me think of the Lama we met and one before. Sensing the needs
and reactions. Attuned. Participants I've met (including myself) say how
specific the talk was/is.

Wouldn't want to be a herring with bad hearing.
I just noticed something simple. When I'm not grounded and lost in an event
then I'm more likely to attach to karma as a way to stay present through the
experience. Karma like substance. No karma = Empty.
