It has been politic for me to not associate my full name with the
K-list website. In 1997, I assumed list ownership under a firestorm of
opposition directed at my sexual orientation... and that issue has come up
repeatedly since... quite colourfully last Jan., with the troll using
prejudice as a weapon that got the list deleted from yahoo, with no warning.
There are others who have branded this list as an SM list, simply
because I am the owner. Inaccurate, and unfair to the list members. I used
to have a few online stalkers, too... and I did not want them to find this
place. I'm accustomed to my activism generating a certain amount of abuse
being directed towards me, but I prefer to shield the members from it,
where I can.
Yahoo deleting the list turned out OK, in the end, after a whole lot of
work and upheaval... Always looking for the silver linings. I had wanted to
move the list away from yahoo for awhile, I was tired of the spam and
problems with yahoo, but the moderators had been opposed, inertia. Having
the list on the site is much better... but it was still quite a traumatic
event, for all concerned.
I have a heap of other domains, all about me me me. The Kundalini
gateway is about *us*. The community, as a whole... Thus, I rarely refer to
myself as the owner. I do not think of it as "mine"... I manage it, in
service to the community.
There is a link, on every page of the website, "Mystress"... it leads
to the K-teacher site. It is enough. My full name is on that site, though
not obviously... and anyone who wants to do a search on my name, or even
just on my title, "Mystress", will find a few thousand links, to the
K-gateway archives and links, to my other sites, and to about 5000 out
dated fetish porn sites that still list me as a professional dominatrix.
I'm sorry that such prejudices still exist, but they do... I got a post
to another of my domains, recently... I'll share it with you, without
revealing the author's name:

You will note, I did not list this place. She will find it, if she is
meant to... if not... there are plenty of other resources, that will not
trigger her issues.
Even more hidden than my name, is the K-list profiles, where members may
create an entire page about themselves, with a photo. It is not linked on
the site, and it is password protected... I have been meaning to post and
remind members of it's existence.
