hiya all,
i wanted to send another poem/song , hope no-one minds...
it is from about a year ago, and at the time i was getting
depressed by the way that the observations, and things i
wanted to say to "the world" always seemed like terrible
things to say... not because they were terrible, but because
they were talking about the "false gods" that people were
attached to... how do i tell my ego that it's time to die.
( psychologically ) ... is kali the killing of the ego? maybe?
... i don't know... but i do know the death of the ego
every second means that the world is born anew every
moment.
y'know the feeling of seeing the most wonderful sunset?
did it fade as you looked at it... did the memory, the
image, the thought overwhelm the actual vision until
the love was no more.... when my ego dies, i can see
each moment as the first... awake.... but my ego
does not like to die... as it wants to live forever...
forever stagnant in belief, rather than forever living
as the constant change of an eternal flame.

[ these words are probably more of a "rap/spoken word" song, than a poem,
... just the way it came out :-) ]
...it's meant to be happy ... even if it seems a bit sad....

To be a catalyst of madness,
has a reflex of sadness,
what am I while I'm moving?
Not something that I'm proving.
Just simple,
silent in the mind,
all these words in thought are not unkind,
they flow from lips which want to kiss,
not to push a knife into this I don't dismiss,
they don't force a way,
I just simply say,
this is that, that is this,
tell it like it is....
Not voiced for one way, or another,
no motive sitting under the cover,
I have no secret hidden agenda,
I ain't no pretender, or defender
of anything you hate,
we need to see truth, before it gets late,
so I open my mind and open my heart,
without the fear of being ripped apart,
these words don't force a way,
they just simply say,
this is that, that is this,
tell it like it is....
I can't sit here in silence,
while around me all is violence,
I can show you the distortion,
get all this in proportion,
take away the need for greed,
let the flower of love grow from the seed
of life,
that blossoms like a star,
and see wonder in who we really are,
these words don't force a way,
they just simply say,
this is that, that is this,
lets tell it like it is....
See that all these trinkets we posses,
are the subtle roots of our distress,
our attachment to the transient,
with fixed ideas so arrogant,
our firm belief, creates the grief,
leaves us ripped up on the reef,
as the tide of dogma leaves us dry,
and leaves us salt and tears to cry,
these words don't force a way,
they just simply say,
this is that, that is this,
we must tell it like it is....
