           I have been using "mind" and "brain" as the "rational part of
man" basically. "Brain" with a meaning closer to "logic thinking" and "mind"
a more general reasoning.

           In reality mind-brain, for me, is the place where decisions are
taken. And all kind of feedback is used. Reasoning, data acumulated,
feelings and sensations.

            The weak spot of humans is this "rational part". It can be
convinced of incredible things. And listening to your feelings and
sensations helps you go back to your real track. A track where at least, you
are not the one who is inflicting damage to yourself. :).
