I have recently acknowledged how 'self conscious' I am. Is this also a
manifestation of K? I hadnt thought about that as a possibility but suspected
it was more to do with a fear of rejection or fear of not being accepted into
the group. I realised that I hermit myself away because I get so self
conscious in social situations.. especially talking about myself in front of
a group of people. Ever since I was a kid I never really had a place in the
'group'... I was always on the outskirts and Im sure it was my choice rather
than being ostrasized or anything like that. Anyway its come up to be
released big time just at the moment as Ive found myself on a national day
time TV programme once a week for the next couple of months!!! I cant believe
Im doing it. I got so nervous last week just before it went out on air I
thought I was going to collapse with self consciousness when the cameras and
host focussed on me. I guess over the coming month or so Im going to have
plenty of chance to feel the fear and do it anyway!
