Hello L&L Lars,

Getting a headache, or any other discomfort, after
attempting to revitalize the third eye simply means
that way too much effort has been expended in the
process.

The best possible state of mind is child-like
playfulness, while being receptive for possibilities.
Trying to force energy into this area will only cause
the chakra to react by closing, not respond. If you
have ever had to put in eye drops or put in contact
lenses and had your physical eye react by shutting,
you can use this as an example.

Also once you do receive visions, view them – don´t
stare or focus your attention on the vision. When you
do so, your vision will disappear right before your
eyes. This is the most difficult part (for me), is to
remain neutral, and receptive to psychic vision. If
you casually glance at the vision(s), rather than
intensely focusing, you will have much more success.
It is very disappointing to "see" something only to
have it disappear because you lost your neutrality.

The information I enter here is based upon my
experience, and metaphysical/spiritual education.

Moving into receptivity of the vision of the 6th
Chakra of Ajna is not an overnight process.

Humans rarely utilize more than 10% of the ability of
their eyes, much like we rarely utilize more than 10%
of our brains. I know of people who get eye glasses
and state that they are seeing colors they never saw
before. This is the same with these eye exercises, you
will activate cones in your eyes which will register a
color spectrum you have not yet experienced.

There are a couple of things to accept before
beginning. The first obstacle to over come is
believing that there are energies to be seen. The
second is to believe that humans can see this energy.
The third is to not be fearful of what one sees.
Attempt to keep a neutral state of mind. Even when
viewing the most angelic being one can be thrown into
a state, which feels like panic. This excitement is
actually a rapid growth energy because upon first
viewing one experiences leap in consciousness.

As I mentioned this is not an overnight method. There
are methods, which are immediate, but they involve
certain rituals, and a Shaman present for guidance.

The following is a “do it yourself’ method, which may
take as long as a 6 weeks of practice. It is possible
that it can take much less time, or much longer. Each
individual has his or her own individual growth rate.
This is neither good or bad, it simply “is’. Some
people who strive to see psychically NEVER see
psychically while in an awakened state. If this is the
case, it means that this is simply not part of your
life path. Such a lack of result has no bearing
whatsoever on who you are, how evolved you are, or how
balanced you are. Don´t beat yourself up if you don´t
realize your expected results in a timeframe in which
you think you should have results. It is best not to
put any expectation on your results. The more neutral
your mental attitude is towards your development, the
more rapid the development.

I recommend an exercise in conscious breathing that
provides a greater supply of oxygen to the brain. The
is called the “Lion´s Breath.’

One should sit down in a meditation position, back
straight, hands on lap with palms facing up, and feet
flat on the floor. Utilize your diaphragm to draw in
the greatest capacity of air. Before exhaling, hold
your tongue to the back of your mouth, to block the
breath from leaving, which forces additional oxygen to
the brain. Hold your breath for as long as it is
comfortable for you. I usually hold for a count of 10
seconds. Repeat this exercise about 10 times, or
whatever is comfortable for you. You might find
yourself becoming lightheaded so don´t go beyond your
comfort zone. This is not a contest; so don´t put
effort into it. Just relax and enjoy playing with the
breathing exercise. You can do this throughout your
day while you are taking it easy.

For the next step I suggest getting some construction
paper one black and one white. Create a small black
square, then a larger white square, then one more
black square that is larger than the other two. Layer
these on top of one another. Place the largest black
square on a table, place the smaller white square in
the middle of the black square, then the smallest
black square in the center. Now tape or glue these
together. Hang this creation on a wall, which has an
unobstructed view from your meditation position.

Begin with the meditation sitting position. Next do
the Lion´s breath as is comfortable for you.

The next exercise is with the black and white chart.
Look at the center of the chart and visualize a white
dot in the middle of the chart. Stare at this center
for at least 15 seconds. Then adjust your vision to
encompass the entire chart. Do this for about 15
seconds. Repeat this exercise for at least a dozen
times. If your eyes become too exhausted before
reaching a dozen, stop when your eyes feel too tired.
If you can do the exercise for a longer period of
time, do so. You are building your vision muscles.
You will gain the greatest benefit from utilizing this
exercise every day, just as you would if these were
sit-ups. Do the breathing exercise along with the
visual exercise for about a week before you
incorporate it into your meditation.

After a week of doing the above exercises you can
incorporate the next exercise. You will need more
construction paper. Get a couple of primary colors.

This exercise will begin relaxing the 3rd eye to be
receptive to spiritual vision. Stare at these colors
for a prolonged period, like 15 to 30 seconds. Then
look away at a blank wall, and notice what you see. If
you have been looking at a yellow pallet, you will see
blue. If you were looking at red, then you see green.
Staring at orange will produce a turquoise image.
Staring at gold will produce an image of violet. (each
color is also visa-versa, such as violet will provide
an image of gold)

We are all born with the ability to see the reflected
light of colors. In the same way as our sense of smell
works, if we discover that something is not
life-threatening we have the ability to block out the
information, which we often do. We are able to do this
with sounds, smells, and sites. This may or may not
apply to other senses, but an extensive list doesn´t
matter here.

Approximately 2 weeks of these exercises you will
start realizing that you are accomplishing building up
your physical and your spiritual vision.

The next step I suggest is to meditate in a relaxed
state.
Take the meditation position recommended above.
Perform the Lion´s Breath at least 10, and no more
than 20 times.
Do a “chakra check’ *
- Don´t concern yourself whether you can or cannot see
your chakras just visualize that you can see them –
have fun - make believe! -
Look at the first chakra located at the base of your
spine and visualize the color as a brilliant ruby red.

Visualize two energy cords streaming from your first
chakra one going to the right hip the other to the
left, and then the steams of energy going down through
your legs in attaching to the central charkas located
in the soft spot by the arch of your foot sole.
Take a look at the second chakra located between your
navel and your first chakra and visualize that chakra
as persimmon orange.
The third chakra is located between your heart and
your naval visualize as sunny lemon yellow.
The fourth chakra is located at the heart region
visualize as emerald green. Visualize two streams of
emerald green energy flowing from the heart chakra one
into your left shoulder, the other to the right, and
then the streams flow down your arms into the center
of your palms where your hand charkas are located.
Visualize the 5th chakra located in your throat as
topaz blue.
Visualize the 6th chakra located just above and
between your physical eyes as indigo blue.
Visualize the 7th chakra located on the crown of your
head as violet.

Postulate that any extra energy in your chakras is
released to the center of the earth to be returned to
where it belongs. (put no judgment on any energy you
release, just release it and let it go.)

This is the next step in the exercise of developing
your psychic vision.
Close your eyes, if they are not already closed. Place
your consciousness behind and at the lower portion of
your physical eyes. Then raise your consciousness to
the point between and above your physical eyes. Try
and maintain 15 seconds in each place. At first this
exercise might make you feel tired, if it does then
just do this exercise at long as you can.

To help you relax and free yourself from any
distractions while doing this exercise it can be
helpufl to repeat the manta AUM TAT SAT AUM, which
means, “I AM THAT I AM.’ Chanting the words “I AM THAT
I AM’ produces the same results. Focus the vibration
of your voice through your Heart Chakra. Attempt to
vibrate the heart chakra area with your chant. Once
again don´t put effort into this, use whatever key is
comfortable for you. You naturally know your own
individual key, as each of us has his or her own
specific note of vibration. While you are focusing on
your chanting, you will move yourself into a more
neutral space regarding the unfolding of the petals of
your inner vision.

This process is invoking the recognition that you are
consciously developing certain natural attributes,
which have been dormant. Through your conscious
acknowledgement and intention you will accelerate this
development.

If you find yourself yawning or your eyes tearing
during this exercise that is a very good sign that you
are clearing any blocks to your progress. So don´t be
concerned thinking that you are getting bored or tired
as you are just releasing old worn out energetic
concepts that no longer serve you. You might want a
nap afterwards, because you have taken a growth spurt
during this exercise. Your physical body may require
rest to assimilate the transformation.

The last part of this exercise is to fill up with your
own energy. Visualize your 8th Chakra floating just
above your aura about 4 feet above your head.
Visualize this chakra as Golden in color. This chakra
is a magnet for retrieving your energy. Visualize this
chakra as a Golden magnet calling back any energy
which belongs to you. The Golden 8th Chakra
neutralizes this energy into present time,
non-qualified energy. Visualize the golden energy
flowing down through your crown chakra, filling up
your physical body, and your entire aura. When you
feel ready lean over and touch the ground to release
any extra energy you do not require at this time.

With this final step you are finished with this
exercise.

*Don´t be concerned if the colors stated for the
chakras are different from chakra colors you have been
taught. You are not changing the colors of your
chakras; you are setting a particular energy for this
exercise. Your chakras will return to whatever
vibratory rate your chakras regularly manifest after
the exercise is finished.

day, but at night, my head feels like it's going to
explode, there's so much pressure inside. The
pressure reduces if I sit or stand straight. So I can
only sit straight and wait till the pressure is gone
before going to bed.
