Hi there-

  My name is michael and I am new to the list. I have
lived with the K phenomenon for the past 4 years (I am
now 29 years old). I have been through a lot with
this primal energy, and am more than ever feeling the
need to associate with people who deal with it also.
I look forward to being a part of your discussions...

  As for the thread about medication, when this first
hit me I had no idea what was going on. My close
friends at the time called my parents, and my parents
forced me to go into a mental health facility (i spent
about a week). They prescribed Zyprexa.... this
basically turned me into a zombie & i slept like 16
hrs. a day. I could not hang like this. The
psychiatrist told me i would have to be on it for at
least 3 years if not the rest of my life.... i used it
for less than a month and then lied to my family and
friends that i was taking it, all the while coming to
grips with the fact that my sensorial faculties were
percieving more than usual. After about 6 months of
coming out of severe depression, I was comfortable
with the fact that there were things in this life that
were beyond my explanation... thus growth ensued. 6
months after this the book "Kundalini and the Chakras"
pretty much explained everything, and ignited the
fire to learn as much as possible about this stuff
that doctors could not diagnose.

   Since this time I have come through much more, and
have many other stories to share. I thank you all for
letting me into your community... In love and light,
