Just thought I'd mention that I also had a vivid spider dream, and
considering that you posted this three days ago, it may have been on the
same night. The description of it sounds the same too -- interesting. My
dream wasn't lucid, just very vivid and numinous. Why did you add, "I
think"? When you "wake-up" and realize you're in the midst of a dream,
that's the definition of a lucid dream.

Ironically, right after I woke-up (really woke-up) from the dream I was
thinking about it, and remember having the feeling that its meaning was
something for me personally. This dream was actually the third vivid dream
in a row, and although I was tempted to share, I felt I should keep them to
myself. Then along comes your post. So, now I'm compelled by this
coincidence/sychronicity to reveal I had a similar dream.

I don't know what it is, but lately, every time I come to some conclusion,
make a decision, or think I realize something, circumstances occur that
completely contradict it -- blow it to pieces even.
