Greetings Nina,
"Dog in the manger" (Aesop's Fables) seems to be fairly well known, 1460
hits with Google, but you are on site and must know better. I mean, I
wasn't anxious to stop others getting the benefits of kundalini from a
gadget without any study and exertion.
As for techniques and accompanying culture, I meant things like prayer,
singing together, physical postures as in Christianity as techniques and
then the social acceptance of these things as the culture.
By the dignity of mankind I meant freedom from being depersonalized and
from being manipulated.
